DreamWorks teams with Intu for Kung Fu Panda 3 push

Raft of Far Eastern-inspired events taking place across Intu shopping centres for half term.

DreamWorks Animation is partnering with Intu for a raft of Kung Fu Panda 3 inspired activities to run across its shopping centres for half term.

With the film hitting cinemas on March 11 – and already notching up high audience numbers in the US and China – DreamWorks will be looking to raise awareness even further across the UK.

Intu centres – including Intu Metrocentre, Intu Trafford Centre and Intu Lakeside – will be offering a range of Far Eastern-inspired events.

These will include arts and crafts, baking activities, Kung Fu classes and noodle challenges.

All activities will be free, with no booking required and open to all ages.

Trevor Pereira, commercial and digital director at Intu, said: “Half term can be a real juggling act with parents struggling to entertain the children while trying to get through their to-do list.

“This programme of activities in partnership with Dreamworks Animations’ Kung Fu Panda 3 ensures parents can enjoy a stress-free shopping trip knowing their children are having fun in a safe environment at no cost to them – just another example of Intu’s great, family friendly facilities.”
