Christmas TV schedule is packed with franchises from the company’s portfolio.
DreamWorks Animation is set for a bumper festive period on TV screens across the UK – with a raft of its big name franchises set to air on BBC channels across the holidays.
The news is sure to be welcomed by licensees for the classic DreamWorks brands, including the likes of Posh Paws (plush), Danilo (cards), Clementoni (puzzles), Procos (partyware), Pyramid (posters), Somerbond (clothing) and Poetic Gem clothing) to name a few.
In addition, DreamWorks promotions and live events – such as the Shrek attraction on London’s Southbank and the grottos in both Westfield shopping centres – should also receive a boost.
The schedule kicks off with The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper on BBC1 on December 21 and concludes with Shrek 2 on BBC3 New Year’s Day 2016.
In-between this timeframe, the following movies and specials will all be shown:
Puss in Boots: The Three Diablos, Shrek the Third, Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon, Kung Fu Panda Holiday, Kung Fu Panda, Donkey’s Carolling Christmas-Tacular, Shrek Forever After, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda 2, Shrek the Halls, Madagascar 3 Europe’s Most Wanted, The Road to El Dorado, How to Train Your Dragon (the Christmas Day 8.45pm film), Puss in Boots, The Croods, Flushed Away, Megamind, Bee Movie, Shark Tale, Chicken Run, Turbo, Monsters vs Aliens and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas.
