Dot Dash Design gets creative with Rachael Hale

Company creates new range of designs for apparel and accessories market for brand.

Licensing and apparel design consultancy, Dot Dash Design has been working with the Rachael Hale brand to help bring it ‘on trend’ within the fashion sector.

The company has created a new range of designs for the apparel and accessories market, working closely with the team at Rachael Hale to develop three distinct artwork styles.

Fashion toolkits have now been developed for teen girls and ladieswear.

‘Doodle’ and ‘Girls Squad’ designs team the popular animal imagery with quirky slogans, kitsch motifs, badges and scribbly spontaneous line work, while ‘Intricate’ takes a more sophisticated approach for ladieswear with delicate florals and print and embroidery techniques.

Rachael Hale is represented in the UK by Start Licensing. Ian Downes, md of the agency, commented: “We are delighted to have access to these great new designs.

“We think they will inspire licensees and retailers, giving us the opportunity to drive this very popular brand further in the apparel market. Dot Dash Design’s trend and sector knowledge have really helped.”

Christa Mavroudis, design director at Dot Dash Design, added: “It was important to develop powerful yet fun fashion collections that complemented the Rachael Hale brand for SS17.

“We created uplifting, fashion forward graphics and patterns which take the brand to another level with the view to excite and inspire licensees. As well as graphics and patterns that are essential to the toolkits, we refined the packaging to communicate well with the teen market.

“We are delighted to have worked with such a distinguished property and look forward to seeing the products at market.”
