Do You Promise app looks to licensing

Arty Mouse and Super Geek Heroes brands already on board with Jessami app.

A new app which combines technology, rewards and characters to positively influence children’s development and behaviour is moving into the licensing arena.

Developed by Jessami, the Do You Promise app encourages children and parents to make positive achievements through the commitment of a promise over a period of time.

Characters are used to deliver video messages to the child, including asking them to ‘lock in’ their promise and saying ‘well done’ once it is fulfilled.

The first licensed brands to get involved are art property Arty Mouse and YouTube learning development channel Super Geek Heroes, both represented by Edutainment Licensing.

Bee Licensing – the licensing consultancy representing Do You Promise – is confident that the unique and positive associations of both the app and the concept will lead to further agreements with appropriate properties.

Trudi Bishop, director of Bee Licensing, commented: “The ingenious concept behind Do You Promise brings together friendly, likeable characters with an app that encourages positive development in an entertaining and engaging way.

“Children will love interacting with characters they know and like, making this app a positive experience for families and a major opportunity for licensees.”

Denise Dean, owner of Edutainment Licensing, added: “The growth of app-based learning can benefit children enormously if managed correctly.

“The delightful Do You Promise app brings together fun and development in one inspirational package. We are delighted to be working with this clever and charming offering.”
