Covent Garden activation allows visitors to experience Disney’s ‘theatrical magic’.
Disney has created a new activation around its theatre shows in London’s Covent Garden.
The pop-up store is the first to be dedicated to the company’s musical productions and includes masks, puppets, costumes and a treasure hunt, reports Campaign.
A range of props from The Lion King and Aladdin – both currently showing in the West End – are on display, while visitors can also take part in a number of experiences including having their photo taken with the map from Aladdin and a treasure hunt for magic lamps around Covent Garden Piazza.
There will also be free events inside the store throughout August including puppetry demonstrations, stage make-up masterclasses and performances from cast members.
Fiona Pearce, marketing director at Live Entertainment EMEA, said that the pop-up allows visitors to “experience the Disney theatrical magic and give an insight into our West End musicals”.
