Disney teams with This Girl Can initiative

Company partners with Sport England to create five dance-along videos to inspire mums to get active.

Disney has partnered with Sport England on this year’s This Girl Can campaign.

This Girl Can aims to encourage women to engage in physical activity regardless of shape, size, age or ability.

To this end, Disney has created five dance-along videos to inspire mums to get active with their children.

Sport England research shows that children of active mothers are more likely to grow into active adults, so the fun dance-along videos offer the perfect resource for mums looking to improve not only their own fitness, but also their children’s long-term health.

The videos feature real families from across England dancing to a host of popular Disney songs from four movies – The Little Mermaid (Under The Sea), Moana (You’re Welcome), Disney Channel’s Descendants 3 (Break This Down and Good To Be Bad) and The Jungle Book (I Wanna Be Like You).

You can check out one of the videos below.

The partnership is part of The Walt Disney Company’s Healthy Living commitment to encourage kids and families to get active and be healthy.
