Deer Little Forest gears up to drive licensing in the US

Licensing Works partners with Koko Rose Media to help grow art and lifestyle property.

Koko Rose Media has teamed up with Licensing Works to further grow the arts and lifestyle property, Deer Little Forest, in the US.

In a deal which was finalised at Brand Licensing Europe last week, Licensing Works will develop licensing and publishing strategies for the property in North America – which was created by illustrator Jo Rose – kicking off at ABC Kids Expo this month.

“Lisa [Hryniewicz] and Jo have done an incredible job in developing the instantly recognisable and unique designs of Deer Little Forest into a property that we feel will resonate well with the North American consumer,” said Leslie Levine, founder and owner of Licensing Works. “We look forward to working with them both to translate the brand across a broad range of product categories.”

Lisa Hryniewicz, md of Koko Rose Media, added: “We are genuinely thrilled to be working with Licensing Works and for our property to be represented in their high-quality catalogue. Leslie and her team’s expertise in curating classic publishing brands with a strong design element makes them a very exciting partner for Deer Little Forest.”

Licensing Works joins a healthy roster of international agents for Deer Little Forest including This is Iris (UK and Eire), Ferly (licensing in Scandinavia, publishing in Europe exc. UK), Honomku Files (Japan) and The Icon Company (Russia, CIS).
