DC Thomson strengthens CP team

Company confirms senior appointments for Parragon Books and Wild and Wolf businesses.

DC Thomson has strengthened the Parragon Books and Wild and Wolf businesses with a brace of senior appointments.

Katharine Leck (pictured) joins Parragon as president, publishing and will be responsible for driving the direction of the children’s, licence and lifestyle departments.

Katharine has previously enjoyed spells as global publisher at Lonely Planet and before that Random House. She joins Parragon from Insights Guides-Berlitz.

Katharine will report to Paul Taylor, ceo of Parragon and DC Thomson Consumer Products.

In addition, Gavin Jones joins both Parragon and Wild and Wolf as chief financial officer. He joins immediately, meaning that coo Stewart Bailey can fully focus on managing business operations across Parragon and Wild and Wolf.

Gavin will also report directly to Paul Taylor.
