DC Thomson gets Sweet on Flossy and Jim

Partnership secured between brand and girls magazine.

The licensing programme for Flossy and Jim continues to grow, with Edutainment Licensing securing a partnership with DC Thomson’s Sweet magazine.

Aimed at 7-11 year old girls, Sweet launched in March 2017 and is on sale every three to four weeks. Sales have surpassed projected circulation figures with an average of 28,000+.

“As massive fans of the brand ourselves, we’re so pleased to welcome the colourful world of Flossy and Jim to Sweet magazine,” said editor, Sian Dolan. “We look forward to creating engaging and humorous features we know our readers will love.”

Lynette Jordan, co-creator of Flossy and Jim, added: “We love that the Sweet team are ahead of the game when it comes to the latest brands and trends that are causing a stir among young girls.

“They are passionate about publishing relevant and entertaining content and we are excited to work with such a fantastic magazine partner.”

The news follows on from the announcement last week that Gemma International is to produce cards and gift packaging for the brand.
