Danilo reveals top selling calendars of the year

Minions is the number one title for 2016, followed by Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Danilo has revealed its Official Calendar Chart for 2016, with almost half made up of film and TV titles.

One Direction may have dominated the chart from 2011 to 2015, but for 2016 it’s all change at the top with Minions claiming the number one spot.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a new entry at number two, while Manchester United has claimed its first top three position in over a decade.

One Direction now sit at number four, followed by Liverpool FC, Cliff Richard and 5 Seconds of Summer.

The popularity of The Great British Bake Off has seen its 2016 calendar break into the top ten, taking the number eight slot, while Frozen has slipped down from number one to number nine.

Other new entries in the top 20 include Olly Murs, Joe and Caspar, Tottenham Hotspur, Elvis and Kylie, pushing out some old favourites such as Doctor Who and Robbie Williams.

Danilo had 800 entries to its competition to guess which calendar would come out on top.

Out of these, 25% guessed Frozen, 24% Minions, 20% One Direction, 9% Star Wars, 2% The Great British Bake Off, 1.7% Cliff Richard, 1.6% Joe and Caspar, 1.5% Justin Bieber and 1.3% 5SOS.
