Little Mix and Manchester United come top of the calendar league for publisher.
Girl band Little Mix are top of the pops where calendars are concerned, though Harry Potter has clearly been working his magic on the calendar front, jumping five places since last year taking it to second position in Danilo’s Official Top Ten Chart of its entertainment titles.
For the first time, Danilo has also revealed a separate sports calendar Top Ten, which shows Manchester United in pole position, demoting Liverpool (last year’s winner) into second position.
Released to the media on Saturday (December 2) to help promote calendar buying generally, the Danilo Top Tens are charts compiled from sales data from Danilo online, HMV, Tesco, Calendar Club, Amazon, together with retail chains and independent retailers around the UK as well as overseas.
Explaining the rationale behind the move to two Top Tens, Daniel Prince, operations director of Danilo said: “We wanted to better reflect the diversity of calendar buying, so opted to separate the entertainment titles from those from the sporting world.”
