CBS Consumer Products unveils slate of licensing partners for new series.
CBS Consumer Products used last weekend’s Star Trek convention in Las Vegas to reveal a swathe of new partners for the latest series, Star Trek: Discovery.
Danilo and Pyramid are just two of the key names on the roster.
Danilo will be launching calendars, while Pyramid will be rolling out a line of posters, prints and fan gear in the UK.
In addition, global deals include Simon & Schuster (books), IDW (comics), Titan Entertainment (souvenir magazines), Disruptor Beam (mobile game), Rubies (costumes) and Eaglemoss (collectable die-cast ship models).
Elsewhere in Europe, Cotton Division will debut apparel and accessories in France, while in Australia, Impact Rock will launch posters and prints.
A host of US licensees are also on board including Trevco (t-shirts), Rizzoli (calendars) and ANOVOS (high-end replicas of new Starfleet uniforms) among others.
“We are excited to bring the iconic world of Star Trek back into fans’ homes through this fantastic new series and new product collections,” said Veronica Hart, svp at CBS Consumer Products.
“This impressive line-up of partners is just the beginning and fans can expect to see more as we prepare to beam up to the U.S.S. Discovery this fall.”
Star Trek: Discovery will premiere in the US on the CBS Television Network in September. It will then be distributed by CBS Studios International on Netflix in 188 countries.
