Crunchyroll and Roald Dahl join The Insights Family client roster

Family market intelligence specialist, The Insights Family has expanded its operations in both London and New York, as well as further growing its client roster.

Headquartered in Manchester, The Insights Family is poised for growth following significant investment from BGF – one of the largest and most experienced investors in the UK and Ireland. It marks a pivotal moment for The Insights Family as it continues to strengthen its global footprint, with the US leading the international expansion efforts.

Joining the executive team to spearhead this growth are Joe Timson, appointed as executive vice president of revenue, and Greg Dagger, as vice president of customer success.

“Our decision to establish teams in London and New York stems from our commitment to better serve the US and UK markets, seize on emerging opportunities, and strengthen our relationships with existing clients,” commented Tom Williams, ceo at The Insights Family (pictured above with founder Nick Richardson). “This strategic move aligns with our mission to provide unparallelled insights into the kids and family markets and support our global clients, including Hasbro, PBS, Viacom and Warner Bros. Discovery. As we strengthen our presence in key hubs like London and New York, we are positioned to not only enhance our services but also deepen our connections within the industry.”

The company’s expansion is characterised by both geographic reach and a series of high-profile client successes.

A key milestone is The Insights Family’s partnership with Crunchyroll, the largest dedicated anime library. Crunchyroll will harness The Insights Family’s understanding of the anime audience to support its ambition of becoming the leading anime streaming service across global markets.

The Insights Family has also partnered with The Roald Dahl Story Company. The brand will leverage real-time data to enhance its understanding of today’s kids and family audience to refine its brand and marketing strategies. This insight will allow it to expand its stories and characters across multiple touchpoints to connect with new generations of fans in imaginative and creative ways.

The Insights Family team will be at Brand Licensing Europe in London from 24-26 September. You can visit the team on stand D218 or book a meeting in advance to discover how real-time data and insights can support IP owners, licensees and retailers to build successful licensing partnerships.
