The UNIQLO store in White City Westfield has officially re-opened – and there is a starring role for Mr Men Little Miss and its campaign with Crisis.
The store – located in one of London’s busiest shopping destinations – is newly renovated, expanded and embellished, following a 10 month upgrade programme. It re-opened yesterday (Thursday 10 October).
UNIQLO has worked with the national homelessness charity Crisis since 2021, supporting its mission to end homelessness by building awareness, educating families and raising funds to support the charity’s vital work.
The Crisis x Mr Men Little Miss collaboration aims to bring to life the experiences of people facing homelessness by launching two new characters – Mr and Little Miss Invisible – to help shine a light on the reality of being without a safe home.
A limited edition range of t-shirts, featuring the two new characters, are exclusively available at the UNIQLO White City store. There is prominent front of store exposure and branding including Mr Men Little Miss plush wall and statues, along with window vinyls and a 30-second animation in the window screen.
In addition, there is a home-inspired keyhole range designed by artist Rory McQueen featuring favourite Mr Men Little Miss characters. Customers will also be able to take advantage of the mobile RE:UNIQLO Studio embroidery and Utme! printing services to customise UNIQLO LifeWear products with the exclusive designs.
The collection launched yesterday to mark World Homelessness Day, with £3 from every sale going to Crisis to help further the mission to end homelessness.
After launching in the White City store, the exclusive designs will then be rolled out in other UNIQLO stores across the UK from early November.
On Saturday 12 October, there will be a family event at the White City store with Taiko drummers, Mr Tickle and Little Miss Sunshine costume characters and musical storytelling sessions for children.
