Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products business in Russia shifts to new entity.
Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products has renewed its agreement with CPLG for territories including Benelux, Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece and Turkey – while also adding Russia to the portfolio.
CPLG recently announced the acquisition of a 49% share in Pullman Licensing, creating the CPLG Pullman joint venture in the Russian market.
With this announcement, VNCP’s business in Russia has shifted to the new CPLG Pullman entity.
“Our long-standing relationship with CPLG includes a number of European markets, and we are excited to extend this partnership with CPLG Pullman to our business in Russia,” said Mark Kingston, svp international, Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products. “Russia is a key strategic market for VNCP, and we look forward to working with CPLG Pullman to drive growth for our business across the region.”
Maarten Weck, md of Northern Europe at CPLG, added: “CPLG began representing VNCP in Benelux more than 15 years ago. Since that time, we’ve expanded our relationship to include the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece and Turkey.
“We are looking forward to this exciting new chapter in with the addition of Russia to our VNCP portfolio.”
