Charity auction and limited edition t-shirt to support assistance programmes for refugees.
Some of the biggest fashion houses in Italy have created a special look for Miffy in support of Oxfam Italia.
Fashion Comics – the project originated by creative talent Alessandro Enriquez – in collaboration with Pitti Bimbo, CPLG Italy and Mercis has seen the children’s clothing fashion houses come together.
Il Gufo, Monnalisa, Ice Iceberg, Twinset Simona Barbieri, Ermanno Scervino Junior, N°21, Sarabanda, Mimisol Imelde Bronzieri and La Stupenderia each created a unique and exclusive design to dress the Miffy plush toys.
The designs were then auctioned off on the CharityStars platform over a two-week period.
The outfits dedicated to Miffy have also become the subject of special edition t-shirts, a preview of which was shown during the 83rd Pitti Bimbo show at Fortezza da Basso. These are now on sale in department stores in Milan, Rome, New York, Paris and online.
Part of the proceeds from the two projects will be donated to Oxfam Italia to support its initiatives in helping refugees. This includes a project in Sicily where Oxfam assists unaccompanied minors, offering them education and helps them integrate in host communities.
