With the clock counting down until Rainbow Productions takes on the London Bridges Challenge, the self-proclaimed ‘Bridgerfuns’ have enlisted some new team members to help them raise funds for two important charities.
Volunteering to join them on Friday 7 July, is treasurer of The Light Fund and Rainbow’s former md David Scott; Start Licensing’s Ian Downes; Paramount’s Alex Salisbury (and her dog Lucy); Licensing Link Europe’s Chris Taday; and Rights and Brands’ Magdalena Biernat-Heikkinen.
Starting in Hampton Court, the hike will see the team walk just over 30 miles across all 26 pedestrian bridges that cross the River Thames in London, finishing up at Tower Bridge.
Plus, Mark Bezodis from Rights and Brands has added to the challenge by agreeing to swim the first three miles from Hampton Court Bridge to Kingston Bridge, inspired by his achievement in The Light Fund English Channel Relay Swim last year.
Coinciding with the License to Move initiative, the team are raising money for licensing industry charity, The Light Fund as well as mental health charity, Mind. All donations will be gratefully received and can be made via the team’s Just Giving page: www.justgiving.com/page/rainbow-london-bridges-challenge.
Anyone in the industry who is interested in joining in – whether it be walking, running, cycling or swimming – please don’t hesitate to contact simon@rainbowproductions.co.uk. A minimum fundraising target of £100 per person applies.
