Cooneen on board with Toikido for Piñata Smashlings

Toikido is continuing to build the licensing programme for Piñata Smashlings, securing a new partnership with Cooneen.

The company will create nightwear, underwear and swimwear for the brand, which is the first IP created solely in-house by Toikido.

The brand offers a unique Roblox game, together with a series of animated shorts, music, suite of toys, collectables, trading cards, books, plush and play-sets all scheduled for release next summer.

“Piñata Smashlings is an exciting and immersive IP that will provide children with the opportunity to truly connect the online digital with the offline physical by simultaneously launching a new Roblox game with a physical toy, entertainment and clothing range,” commented Darran Garnham, founder and ceo at Toikido. “We are delighted to have partnered with such a credible garment manufacturer as Cooneen and look forward to seeing the new Piñata Smashlings range on the shelves alongside household names from summer 2024.”

Ellie Griffiths, head of licensing at Cooneen, continued: “We are thrilled to have joined forces with Toikido on their new IP, Piñata Smashlings, a magical immersive game full of colour and cuteness.

“As soon as we saw it we knew we wanted to be part of the programme and are delighted to be on board at this early stage. Our range of nightwear, swimwear and underwear will launch at UK retail in SS24.”
