Rockpool Licensing appoints agent to represent classic brand in the territory.

The classic Brambly Hedge brand is continuing to grow its consumer products programme in key territories – with worldwide agent Rockpool Licensing appointing Click! Licensing Asia.

Click will now represent the children’s book series – which has just celebrated its 35th anniversary – in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Taiwan.

Click will initially target the adult market, exploring opportunities in homeware, print and paper, gifting, collectables and across infant baby.

Vickie O’Malley, md at Rockpool Licensing said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Marilu and the much respected team at Click. We’re excited about Click’s plans for new territories, such as China and for those with a heritage of CP success for Brambly Hedge.”

Marilu Corpus, ceo of Click! Licensing Asia, added: “We at Click are honoured, and truly excited, to work with Rockpool Licensing in representing the beloved brand, Brambly Hedge, in our part of the globe.

“In this digital age, we want the heritage of Brambly Hedge to live on by developing consumer product programmes which are will complement the beautifully written books of Ms. Barklem. We thank you for the trust and confidence.”

Commenting on the appointment, Lizzie Barklem, the daughter of author Jill and md of Four Seasons Licensing, said: “We’re thrilled to have Click on board to represent us.

“Historically, Brambly Hedge has been very popular in the Far East and we hope that a new, re-invigorated licensing programme will allow us to build on this popularity and create an exciting new range of products.”
