Charlotte Clisby takes a bow with Attachment Licensing

Popular exec heads up new licensing arm of global entertainment agency.

Global entertainment agency, Attachment – which works with entertainment talent through brand collaborations and endorsements – has launched a new licensing arm.

Attachment Licensing is headed up by Charlotte Clisby (pictured), formerly chief commercial officer at Evode.

The division will be looking to ‘redefine’ the relationship between talent and licensees. It wants to change the way that talent views and engages with the licensing model – helping them to understand the wide scope for multiple opportunities.

Parent company Attachment has previously worked with talent including Lady Gaga, Ellie Goulding, Mark Ronson, James Corden, Liam Payne, Rudimental, Rita Ora and Gwen Stefani.

“There’s been fantastic growth in talent licensing, but it’s still a slightly unknown and confusing area with lots of perceived boundaries,” commented Charlotte. “Our fresh new approach and experience working with talent is already making talent licensing faster and easier for all involved.”

Attachment Licensing has already secured a soon to be announced partnership with Ashley Wilde, which will see a new bedding collection launch across the UK high street, before then rolling out internationally.

In addition, lifestyle and fashion brand Skinnydip has engaged the agency to identify and execute international licensing opportunities, which will expand the brand across a number of different categories.

Two global licensing partners have already been secured and will be announced shortly.

Commented Skinnydip: “We are thrilled to announce that we are now working with Attachment to help secure licence opportunities for the brand.

“We believe that licensing is the best way for us to expand into multiple product categories whilst ensuring that we are working alongside the most credible companies in each new category we enter.

“We have really big plans for new products and can’t wait to expand the business over the coming years together.”
