Character World widens its portfolio as it eyes more growth

Licensed textile specialist, Character World is looking forward to further growth for the business, having used the past 18 months to evolve and widen its offer.

The company has been busy expanding its strategy, people, product and retail offering as it ‘strives to become the partner of choice’.

“It’s been an exciting time for us at Character World, despite the pandemic, and we are truly excited about our future evolution,” commented Danny Schweiger, joint md and founder of Character World. “We’ve strengthened our team with new talent across sales, marketing, product development and operations.

“Our expertise, passion and energy to drive our business forward has never been greater.”

The company has also been developing innovative new product ranges, with Danny reiterating that it is ‘firmly committed’ to growing existing and new categories.

Character World’s ongoing partnership with Millpond Sleep Clinic and its founder, sleep expert Mandy Gurney, also continues to go from strength to strength.

Danny continued: “Our Rest Easy Sleep Better range in collaboration with Mandy, features weighted blankets and eye masks that can aid sleep. Our award nominated new Coverless Carefree Bedding range, with machine washable no-cover needed quilts, can make life so much easier for time pressured families.

“And we’ve just launched our new Hugzee range, the oversized wearable fleece, the latest must have product… and we’ve more innovation on the horizon, so stay tuned.”

Danny concluded: “It’s our goal to always be the partner of choice for licensors and retailers, trusted to collaborate on exciting new ranges and innovative products, delivering to the market on spec and on time.”
