Character World Brands’ James Walker celebrating London Marathon success

James Walker, ceo at Character World Brands, is no doubt feeling tired but proud today after having completed the London Marathon yesterday (21 April), running to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

James (pictured with his family, Heidi, Oscar, Harri and Max) has so far raised over £8,000 for the charity.

What an amazing experience, insane! I finished in 4:01 which was ahead of my target, but just over my dream sub 4,” James told LicensingSource.net. “I have been raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK as my mother has dementia and been in care for the last two years. My stepfather has been fundraising with me, but unfortunately passed away two weeks ago so the run was for the both of them.”

If you would like to donate to help James reach his £10,000 target for Alzheimer’s Research UK, simply click on this link to visit his fundraising page.
