Centum Books speeds in with SEGA and Sonic the Hedgehog

Centum Books has secured a new two-year publishing deal with SEGA.

The deal will see the company launch the Sonic the Hedgehog Tin of Books in Q4 2024. The Tin of Books format is one of Centum’s most successful, with over three million Tins sold in the UK since launch.

Further products are due to launch in 2025 and beyond.

“This is an amazing opportunity to work with the team at SEGA on one of the hottest entertainment brands in the market,” commented Geoffrey Reynolds of Centum Books. “Coupled with the success of the Tin of Books format, we are sure these will be a real hit with the fans, especially with the new Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film release later this year.”

Gemma Daniels, senior licensing manager at SEGA Europe, continued: “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Centum Books and cannot wait for the imminent product launch. This partnership holds so much promise and I am confident that it will be a tremendous success.”
