Brands with Influence appoints agent to help grow property in Australia and New Zealand.
Momentum is continuing to build for the Bush Baby World brand, with Brands with Influence appointing Centa IP to handle licensing in Australia and New Zealand.
The collectable toy range – distributed by Jasnor – has been enjoying rapid growth in the territory, with Centa IP being tasked to expand this into other categories.
Licensing is already underway in the UK with Ravensburger, DreamTex, and TDP/Aykroyds already announced, and Centa IP is already experiencing strong interest from retailers and licensing partners.
Gail Mitchell, vp Asia Pacific at Centa IP, explained: “We are thrilled to be managing Bush Baby World down here in Australia and New Zealand. We are very aware that girls in our target market love plush and they spend a lot of time on social media – Bush Baby World combines these two worlds beautifully with cute plush characters and high quality animated webisodes.
“We are very excited to be extending the Bush Baby World into a broader range of consumer products categories over the coming years alongside the best in class partners already on board worldwide.”
Dom Wheeler from Brands with Influence, added: “We were really impressed by the Centa IP team’s enthusiasm and determination for the brand. Early sales indications in the Australia and New Zealand are really positive, with the plush toys selling through in record time.
“We are now looking to work closely with Centa IP as we build out a global licensing programme. Over the coming weeks we are going to be announcing many more licensing partners.”
