“There have been some amazing highlights”, says md Rob Corney.
When Rob Corney founded Bulldog Licensing ten years ago, it became the first agency to actively pursue the ‘retail first’ approach.
Over the last decade it has kept pace with the changing landscape of the industry, working with a varied portfolio of brands ranging from collectable crazes, through to major movies, mobile gaming properties and photographic image rights, and picking up several awards along the way.
After a phenomenal 2017 – which saw Shopkins top the sales charts in the girls’ sector, the licensing debut of Miraculous and the beginning of an Enid Blyton programme – sights are firmly set on further success.
“There have been some amazing highlights over the last ten years,” says Rob “Let’s face it, if you can’t have fun in entertainment and licensing, you’re doing something wrong!”
