Unique collectable cans released printed with company’s iconic designs.
Cath Kidston has collaborated with Heinz to create unique collectable cans printed with some of its iconic designs.
The partnership marks the first time that the classic Heinz Soup cans have been the subject of a design takeover, with the activity tying in with Cath Kidston’s 25th birthday this year.
Available for a limited time only, Heinz x Cath Kidston sees classic cans of Heinz bestselling Soup recipes – Heinz Cream of Tomato (launched 1910), Cream of Chicken and Classic Vegetable Soup (launched in the 1930s) – given a fresh spring makeover.
The print design team delved into the Cath Kidston archive to find three iconic designs – Cowboy, Button Spot and Bramley Sprig – to adorn the classic cans of Heinz Soup and then gave each a unique Heinz red twist.
A collector’s box has launched online and in ten Cath Kidston stores. As well as the three soups, it also includes an exclusive Cream of Tomato Soup in the popular Guards print, which will only be available at Cath Kidston.
The collector’s box is priced at £10 with 100% of the proceeds being donated to The Trussell Trust, a network of food banks that provide emergency food and support to people in crisis.
All three varieties will also be available across a selection of supermarkets for a limited time only.
