Cartoon Network Live show on the way

Turner teaming up with Live Nation Middle East for new production starring key brands.

Turner has joined forces with Live Nation Middle East for a new live stage show called Cartoon Network Live.

The production will feature a number of key brands – including Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, The Amazing World of Gumball and Adventure Time – and will visit various cities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The story will see Kelvin Gizmo, scientist extraordinaire, take fans into the world of Cartoon Network which is under threat of Zarr, the evil robot. Fans will travel through the Land of Ooo, the city of Townsville and Elmore and meet their famous inhabitants. With them, and the help of the audience, Kevin Gizmo will hopefully be able to stop Zarr and his evil plans.

Michel Boersma, svp family entertainment and theatre at Live Nation Middle East, commented: “We are very excited to work together with Cartoon Network, who have trusted us with creating this exciting and spectacular multi-brand show.

“Cartoon Network Live will feature, for the very first time, all the familiar and beloved Cartoon Network characters, together in one live stage show. Live Nation always strives to bring fans closer to their idols and with this Cartoon Network Live we will be doing just that.”

Maria Rosaria Milone, senior director, category management and agent markets, Cartoon Network Enterprises EMEA, added: “Creating interactive and immersive brand experiences provides not only kids but their entire family with new and exciting ways to engage with our shows and characters.

“Throughout the development of this production, Live Nation have matched our passion and ambition to bring Cartoon Network’s iconic brands to life, and we can’t wait to see the fan reaction to this fantastic new live show when it comes to their city.”
