Care Bears Forever London art exhibition draws the crowds

The Care Bears PR drive in the UK has picked up its pace with another successful public event.

The Care Bears Forever London art exhibition at the gallery@oxo opened on Thursday 29 August and has been flooded with visitors ever since.

Fans and art enthusiasts have been treated to original archive images created by Elena Kucharik, dating back to the 1980s, that have never been seen before in the UK. In addition, locally commissioned art that embraces all that is Care Bears, together with fashion pieces and sculptures have been central to the event.

A private showcase took place at the gallery last night (Thursday 5 September), with Cloudco Entertainment welcoming many of its industry partners together with celebrities, influencers and their families.

Care Bears’ themed cocktails and sweet treats set the scene together with personal appearances by Cheer Bear.

Spencer Willis - son of Max Publishing's Rob Willis - was among the specially invited guests at the event.

“Our Care Bears Forever London Gallery event has been months in the planning, and we have been delighted with the response of the public since it’s opening,” commented Kristy Miall, director of global marketing at Cloudco Entertainment. “The art exhibition includes commissioned pieces, our Care Bears’ mosaic wall and an interactive installation where visitors can leave their own private messages of positivity and kindness. It’s been a huge success, and to celebrate it with our industry friends and fans last night was the icing on the cake.

“2024 has seen a huge rise in the marketing drive for the Care Bears’ franchise in the UK. Only a few weeks ago we were celebrating with our youngest fans at Gloworm Festival and now we have bought the magic of Care Bears in an entirely different, but equally enjoyable, way to London.”
