Bush Baby World welcomes first licensee

Aykroyds and TDP Licensing on board for hotly tipped new property after toy success.

Aykroyds and TDP Licensing have kicked off the programme for Bush Baby World, signing up to create nightwear, underwear and swimwear for the brand.

The Bush Baby World animation series and toys launched in July this year, and within its first few weeks had already delivered over a million views online. In parallel, the new toys from Golden Bear saw unprecedented sales, resulting in new orders and product having to be airlifted in to meet demand.

Dean Greasley, head of licensing at TDP, said: “It’s easy to see how the Bush Baby toys have launched so successfully. Our ‘Guardians of Dreams’ sit perfectly alongside bedtime and the nightwear category and we’re thrilled to be on board at such an early stage.

“We’re predicting great success for our ranges of nightwear, underwear and swimwear due for launch during spring/summer 2018.”

Dom Wheeler from Brands with Influence – which has exec produced the webisodes – added: “We have been really excited about the way the new animated series and toys have been received. The CGI characters are just as loveable and engaging as the physical toys.

“We’re thrilled to have the calibre of Aykroyds and TDP on board so early in the brand’s development and confident their experience and expertise will prove successful at retail.

“We will be sharing more details about the plans for the Bush Baby World brand at BLE in October.”
