Bulldog scores hat trick for Match Attax

Centum, Sambro and Cooneen on board with football trading card game brand.

Bulldog Licensing has netted a hat trick of new deals for the football trading card game, Match Attax.

Centum has come on board for publishing (including annuals), while Sambro will produce bags, backpacks, stationery and table football, and Cooneen will launch nightwear and underwear.

“We have attracted a huge amount of interest in this brand since we introduced it to the licensing community last year,” said Rob Corney, md of Bulldog Licensing. “Match Attax is amazingly popular and – as these initial agreements show – can work across any number of categories, so there will be plenty more deals to come.”

The UK’s number one children’s football brand – with over one million collectors – nearly half of all boys in the UK collect Match Attax, with live swapping events held across the country. The brand also has a strong online presence – Toppsfootball.com – that boasts over 800,000 registered users and is the ninth most visited boys’ site in the UK.
