BTHA updates on Toy Fair 2022

The BTHA has today (17 December) issued a statement on Toy Fair 2022 due to the evolving pandemic.

The statement – sent to exhibitors and visitors – said that the team is continuing to work hard to deliver a “great Toy Fair 2022 at Olympia London”.

It continued: “We are continuing to follow the latest government advice in regards health matters and requirements for events of our type; in light of the rapidly changing and uncertain Covid-19 pandemic with the Omicron variant, we are awaiting information on any further government safety measures, which are expected and may include some restrictions. When these are known and assessed, we will of course inform our participants and visitors of any new developments.

“We will make a further announcement when this information is available and would aim to make another statement in the afternoon of Wednesday 5 January at the latest. In the meantime, we advise companies to exercise prudence on undertaking expenditure on stand materials and construction in case the situation or requirements do necessitate changes.

“May we take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and patience and to wish you and your families, friends and colleagues a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.”

Toy Fair 2022 is scheduled to take place from 25-27 January 2022 at London’s Olympia.
