Brits to spend £18m on costumes and decorations for Eurovision

Overall, retailers are predicted to make £244 million from Eurovision spending as the contest heads to Liverpool this weekend.

As the UK gets ready to host the Eurovision song contest for the first time in 25 years, vouchercodes.co.uk has estimated that 15 million of us will watch the contest, either at home, or at in-person events.

The majority of sales are expected to be from food and drink, but UK shoppers are also set to spend £13m on decorations and £5 million on fancy dress.
