Bristol to Dublin bike ride – challenge complete

Jubilant cyclists celebrate raising £200,000 for industry charity, The Light Fund.

The 325-mile cycle challenge is complete – with the jubilant cyclists crossing the finish line in Dublin this afternoon.

The four-day bike ride has raised £200,000 for The Light Fund – the largest amount raised for the charity from a single event.

The 325 miles saw the riders cycle from Bristol to Dublin – conquering hills, punctures, ferry crossings, cuts, bumps, bruises, angry farmers and cats and more along the way.

The riders celebrated by raising a well deserved glass at The Merry Ploughboy – with the celebrations set to continue this evening at a special after party, kindly sponsored by Amscan.

Further commentary and pictures will run on The Source on Monday – and you can still donate by using any of the methods below.

You can support The Light Fund and our industry cyclists by clicking here to visit the JustGiving page. Alternatively, you can donate by text – simply text 70070 with BDUB32 and your donation amount – for example BDUB32 £10.
