Company secures the estate of John Miller for copyright, reproduction and licensing.
Bridgeman Images has expanded its artist portfolio, having been chosen to represent the estate of London-born artist John Miller for copyright, reproduction and licensing.
The company describes John’s art as occupying a space ‘between figuration and abstraction’, with Rothko and Turner cited as key influences.
John worked as an architect before relocating to Cornwall in 1958. His studio enjoys views across the Hayle estuary, which is where he painted his distinctive images of glowing beach and deep blue sky that he is best known for.
Bridgeman is a rights-managed specialist in reproducing and licensing art, photography and footage to creative professionals. Over the past 40 years, the company has built up a global client base through its offices in London, New York, Paris and Berlin.
