Brands with Influence to boost Sooty licensing

Company to develop hit brand further in retro/vintage sector and build links with larger retailers.

Brands with Influence is partnering with Redan Alchemy and The Sooty Show to boost the property’s licensing programme to the next level.

Over the last three years, The Sooty Show’s presence in the licensing space has been growing, with continued broadcast on CITV and core deals negotiated with Golden Bear, TVM Fashion Lab, Redan Publishing and Award Publications.

Richard Cadell, owner and presenter of The Sooty Show, commented: “With The Sooty Show now broadcast in Australia and New Zealand and the movie in development, we felt it was time to step up the licensing programme and Brands with Influence are the perfect partner to help take this iconic brand forward.

“Redan Alchemy will continue to manage the brand, but we feel that it’s time for a specialist licensing company to get involved, especially when it comes to developing the retro/vintage sector and building links with larger retailers.”

Brands with Influence boasts a raft of experience in both the children’s and retro sectors, working with CBBC and CBeebies on properties including Hacker T Dog, The Next Step, Woolly and Tig, Nelly and Nora and Swashbuckle.
