Agency signed to manage the worldwide licensing programme for Danish brand.
Brands with Influence is to build the worldwide licensing programme for Danish brand, LuckyBoySunday.
The brand – which started life as a range of knitted toys created by designer, Camilla Korschen – already has a successful licensing programme in Korea, with deals including Dunkin Donuts and fashion label Roanjane.
As worldwide agent, BWI has agreed a deal with License Connection for the Benelux region and is working closely with the existing agency, Heros in Korea.
Over the coming months, BWI will look to partner with agents in other key territories for the brand including Japan, France and the US.
“We have been quite overwhelmed by the love and demand for our designs and products,” commented Camilla. “The experience in Korea has been phenomenal and we quickly realised we needed professional help in expanding our licensing programme.
“After meeting with BWI at our office in Denmark we were excited about the plans for the brand and team who will be helping us grow.”
Martin Lowde, md of BWI, added: “When we were first approached by LuckyBoySunday we were blown away by the cuteness of the characters and their instant appeal. This is a brand that works across the age groups.
“Initially it is a design-led brand, but we also see great potential for it to grow into animation and story telling. It has a loveable innocence and great humour that is really engaging.”
