Brands & Retail UK Winter Conference takes shape

Brands & Retail UK is continuing to add to the line-up for its Winter Conference, confirming the retail panel which will close the first day.

The conference – which is sponsored by Fabacus – is due to take place on 18-19 January, 2023 at the Wellcome Collection Museum in London. It is free for retailers and manufacturers/brand partners to attend.

The retailer panel – which will take place on 18 January – will be moderated by Julia Redman, owner of Buyers Eye, and will include John Carolan, head of buying for baby at Boots; Karen Hewitt, buying director at Character.com; and Vicki Radford, buying expert lab-16 at George @ Asda.

The programme for the event is in the process of being finalised and brands have a deadline of 30 November to get in touch if they would like to be involved.

New brands confirmed include Bulldog Licensing and ZAG, plus Digital Sports Management, while Acamar Films has extended its presence on day two.

“I am really excited with the panel for Winter 23 – our last summer conference panel could have gone on for hours as there were so many questions from the audience for our esteemed panel of retailers,” commented Ryan Beaird, event director. “The line-up is looking great as well with some fantastic new brands showing for the first time and we are now at 80% audience capacity already with less than two months to go. Tickets are also on sale for both days Ivy Club parties as well.”
