Deadline for entries and nominations for awards is Friday February 17, 2017.
Following a successful debut earlier this year, the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards are returning in 2017 – and are now open for entries.
The 2017 awards programme will build on rewarding excellence in brand licensed merchandise and IP management, as well as retail execution.
The entry and nomination process is via online submission – all the forms can be accessed from the dedicated B&LLAs website by clicking here.
The deadline for entering is February 17 2017, following which a validation process for each of the awards sections will ensue, involving panels of industry experts pertinent to the categories.
Brand Licensing Europe was quick to re-commit as the headline sponsor of the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards.
Commenting, Anna Knight, brand director of Brand Licensing Europe, said: “We’re delighted to take part in the B&LLAs as headline sponsor once again. BLE is committed to supporting and celebrating excellence in brand licensing and collaboration with the B&LLAs is a great opportunity to do just that.
“We saw some fantastic examples of innovation at 2016’s awards so I’m looking forward to seeing a really strong shortlist once again.”
Trade body LIMA is also lending its support once again.
Kelvyn Gardner, md of LIMA UK, said: “Brands have really stepped up into the licensing limelight and the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards duly recognise excellence in this field.
“We are proud to build on our existing association with Max Publishing and The Licensing Awards by giving the B&LLAs our wholehearted support.”
Other leading industry names who have already pledged their support as sponsors include TLC, Beanstalk, CPLG, Start Licensing, Golden Goose, Pink Key Consulting, Those Licensing People, Happy Jackson, Octane 5 and Autumn Fair.
The winners of the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards 2017 will be unveiled at a lavish afternoon event held at The Dorchester, Park Lane, London on Thursday April 27 2017, which will be attended by over 400 retailers, licensees, brand owners and licensing representatives.
Ian Hyder and Jakki Brown, joint managing directors of Max Publishing, said: “Thanks to the extraordinary level of support we received from the industry, the inaugural B&LLAs truly recognised the dynamism and innovation within the growing brand licensing arena.
“The 2017 B&LLAs will further build on this, with the award category parameters having been tweaked so that they even better reflect brand licensing activities.”
