Brand & Deliver to boost Angry Birds franchise

Company partners with Rovio to help build worldwide brand partnerships.

Creative marketing agency Brand & Deliver has been appointed by Rovio to help secure worldwide brand partnerships for the Angry Birds franchise.

Working throughout 2017 and 2018, the company will be looking to build on the success of the Angry Birds Movie.

Released in May 2016, the film went to number one at the box office in 52 countries.

“Increasingly we’re being briefed to create global partnership solutions for brands,” commented Ros Carmoody, partnerships director at Brand & Deliver.

“The universal popularity of the Angry Birds IP combined with the rich media exposure from Rovio’s owned platforms, offers partners a unique opportunity to reach, engage and reward their target audiences.”

Tiina Mikkonen, global promotions director at Rovio, added: “Following the remarkable success of the Angry Birds movie last year, we wish to engage leading brands across key territories in creative and exciting partnerships.

“Brand & Deliver has a strong track record in the entertainment marketing sector and I look forward to working with them to build a global network of brand partners.”
