Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather steps into the licensing arena

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is stepping into a new arena with the launch of his first-ever signature collection of boxing gloves and gear through his holding company, Mayweather Fitness, and in a global collaboration with leading combat fitness company Hayabusa.

The collaboration was facilitated by IMG Licensing, Mayweather Fitness’s exclusive licensing agency.

Available globally – and developed in close partnership with the 15-time world champion – the collection features a range of boxing gloves designed for all ages and skill levels, along with hand wraps, duffle and gym bags, boxing backpacks, deodorisers and boxing shoes.

“Stepping into the ring is about more than just skill – it’s about mindset, preparation, and having the right tools,” commented Floyd. “Over the years, I have perfected the design of my boxing gloves and gear because every detail matters when you’re aiming for greatness. These gloves are designed for champions and now, my fans and fighters worldwide can also train like ‘The Best Ever’.”

Ken Clement, ceo at Hayabusa, added: “We are constantly aiming to push the boundaries of innovation in combat sports gear, and partnering with the most successful boxer of all time has resulted in a collection for the ages. Every stitch, material, and design choice embodies Floyd’s legacy of perfection, precision and power, delivering unparalleled quality for boxers who are serious about their craft.”

With 15 world titles and a 50-0 undefeated record in his professional boxing career, Floyd is hailed as an all-time boxing great and is also one of the most lucrative pay-per-view (PPV) attractions across all sports.

Since partnering with IMG Licensing in 2023, Mayweather Fitness has rapidly expanded into new categories and markets worldwide. This includes continued development of Floyd’s brick and mortar fitness franchise, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, both in the US and internationally; and recently, the launch of the boxer’s nutritional supplement line, ‘ONE OF ONE’, featuring a range of science-based supplements focused on performance and recovery.
