Born to License welcomes Jenna Chalkley as head of product development

Born to License has expanded its team with the addition of Jenna Chalkley as head of product development.

Jenna (pictured) will oversee the company’s product development services on a worldwide basis.

The role involves close alignment with Born to License clients such as Evry Jewels, Hippo Blue and Val Cucina to ensure that their licensed product meets its full potential, as well as making sure that the approval process is as smooth as possible.

Jenna has over 17 years experience in licensing, having held roles at Disney, Turner Broadcasting, The Licensing Company and, more recently, as head of product development at Exquisite Gaming.

“In the short time that Born to License has been operating it has become clear how critical of a role the company will play in how our clients licensed product comes to life,” commented David Born, founder and ceo at Born Licensing. “Having someone as esteemed as Jenna managing our product development function will make sure that we are providing a world class service, guaranteeing that the licensed product will be the best it can possibly be.”

Jenna continued: “I’m thrilled to join the exceptional team at Born to License. I’m eager to ignite licensee inspiration with my passion for brands and licensed products, guiding them on their journey. With my experience, I’m ready to tackle challenges, foster growth and make a meaningful impact at every turn.”

Born to License is expecting a broad range of new licensed product to be launched by its clients throughout the course of 2024 including jewellery collections, apparel drops and homeware ranges.

Born Licensing, meanwhile, will continue to be focused on delivering lucrative licensed advertising deals to the industry and has a number of major campaigns launching in 2024.
