Preschool animation, Love Monster is continuing to win over audiences, with series two already proving a hit and a host of activity planned in the near future.
Following its launch on CBeebies on 24 January, series two gained a 47% share of the 0-6 year old audience and also featured in Broadcast magazine’s Top 10 children’s programmes for its opening week.
The new series is also proving popular on iPlayer, already attracting 267k views for the first episode; the first series has amassed over 21 million views to date.
Legendary Star Trek actor George Takei – who plays the role of Elder Panda in Love Monster – is supporting his continued appearance in the show with a series of interviews with major broadcast and broadsheet titles. In addition, fans of the show have submitted their own questions for the star via CBeebies’ social channels.
Love Monster has also been chosen to feature on Comic Relief’s early years fundraising packs for Red Nose Day, which takes place on Friday 18 March. You can read more by clicking here.
Fans are also able to enjoy an extended version of the show’s theme tune, as well as the Christmas song from the festive special which featured Rosamund Pike, on YouTube.
