Boat Rocker teams with Live Nation for The Next Step tour

24-date tour will kick off in Australia in September before heading to UK and Ireland.

Boat Rocker Studios is teaming with Live Nation to launch a new The Next Step tour this autumn.

Featuring nine cast members from the hit TV series, the 24-date tour kicks off in Australia on September 19 before arriving in the UK and Ireland on October 17 for 13 dates in major cities nationwide.

The 90-minute show – The Next Step Live: Absolute Dance – will feature solos, duets, trios and group numbers choreographed to popular songs, along with original music from the show.

It follows on from successful tours in both 2016 and 2017.

The UK shows will begin in Glasgow on October 17 before visiting other key cities including London, Manchester, Leicester, Brighton, Portsmouth, York, Newcastle, Bath and Dublin.

Ahead of the UK leg, the cast will rehearse at the iconic Pineapple Studios in London’s Covent Garden.

“As experts in giving people the hottest shows in town we’re delighted to be bringing The Next Step tour to fans in the UK,” said Lee Laborde, UK promoter at Live Nation UK. “It’s an unmissable, one-of-a-kind interactive experience guaranteed to get fans dancing in the aisles.”

Jon Rutherford, president, rights and md, Boat Rocker Studios, added: “The strength of The Next Step brand continues to ignite new partnerships worldwide.

“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Live Nation, taking The Next Step – Absolute Dance tour on the road and connecting with both loyal, and a new generation of fans of all ages, across 24 major cities.”
