Bladez Toyz welcomes new marketing manager

Vicki Marler-Hausen joins licensee to look after its growing portfolio of licences.

Ambitious licensee Bladez Toyz has strengthened its team with the arrival of Vicki Marler-Hausen (née Elmer) as marketing manager.

Vicki (pictured) will be responsible for the marketing and PR activity across Bladez’s growing portfolio of licences, with a focus on driving consumer awareness of the company’s new preschool RC ranges.

Vicki joins the company from Bandai.

Bladez ceo Iain Morgan commented: “We are excited to welcome Vicki onboard and to now have a dedicated marketing specialist in the company.

“She has a wealth of experience we can benefit from as we look to drive Bladez into our tenth year of business and beyond. We know she will be an invaluable support to our sales team in particular as we continue to grow our listings and enhance our retailer activity.

“We are also looking forward to increasing our consumer advertising, PR and social media presence and Vicki’s knowledge and contacts will help us to achieve this.”

Vicki added: “I am really looking forward to joining the fantastic Bladez team and to learning all about the RC category which is new to me.

“I’m also excited to have the opportunity of working more closely with licensors again on some wonderful brands, especially back in the pre-school market where it all started for me with Thomas & Friends almost 15 years ago.

“I can’t wait to test out the new RC inflatables and all the other amazing toys and gadgets that I am now proud to be representing for Bladez.”
