Blackbird Jewellery launches new bird collection in partnership with RSPB

UK-based jewellery brand, Blackbird Jewellery has teamed up with the RSPB on a new collection inspired by British birds.

The collection celebrates the beauty of nature while supporting vital conservation efforts through a partnership with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.

The Bird Collection features a number of pieces, starting with three iconic birds: the Robin, Wren and Blackbird. Each item is handcrafted in the UK using recycled materials, reflecting Blackbird Jewellery’s commitment to sustainability and high quality craftsmanship.

“We are delighted to introduce the Bird Collection, which not only captures the essence of these beautiful creatures but also supports the crucial work of the RSPB,” commented Maggie Calmels, ceo/creative director at Blackbird Jewellery. “Our customers can wear these pieces with pride, knowing that their purchase helps protect and preserve bird habitats across the UK.”

As part of the initiative, 10% of all sales from the Bird Collection will be donated directly to the RSPB. This contribution will aid the RSPB in its mission to deliver a world richer in nature for both wildlife and people.

Louisa Skevington, product licensing manager at RSPB, continued: “It’s wonderful to bring together our shared values in this partnership with Blackbird Jewellery – celebrating and support nature while championing sustainability. The pieces in the initial collection are beautifully detailed and delicate and we are excited to see them launch.”
