Those Licensing People has high hopes for collectable brand and storytelling app.
Worldeez and OOKS are two new brands in Those Licensing People’s (TLP) portfolio.
Worldeez is the latest collectible to come to the UK, building on the popularity of the blind bag craze. OOKS (pictured) on the other hand is an app that allows kids to create their own stories (and including their own drawings) which can be turned into an actual real story book.
Worldeez has taken the UK by storm, thanks to some high-profile publicity on YouTube sensation, Tiana’s Toys AndMe channel. A video made in conjunction with B&M and Worldeez had three million views in a single day – the fastest viewed video ever aired on the Toys AndMe channel.
On the back of this success TLP is working with partners to launch apparel, games, books and more. Webisodes are also being created for Worldeez by TLP’s animation studio in Leeds and will be released in Q3 2018.
OOKS is an interactive storytelling app that allows children to create their own stories. Children can create their own bespoke OOKS avatars personalised to themselves. They can then explore the OOKiverse meeting other critters on the way and creating a story as they go.
As a brand, OOKS is gathering momentum, with OOKS sponsoring Tiny Pop Cuddle Time for the whole month of February including OOKS bespoke online and an on air competition.
As with Worldeez, TLP’s animation studio in Leeds is creating webisodes to launch in Q3 2018.
