Big names sign up for autumn L&M Showcase

Host of licensees and retailers show support for September 6 event in Birmingham.

The second outing for the Licensing & Merchandising Showcase this September has been backed by a raft of big name retailers and licensees.

The event will take place on September 6 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, NEC, tying in with the timing for Autumn Fair.

In addition to Tesco, Avon and Portmeirion Group, other retailers and licensees to join the event include Access All Areas, Blueprint Collections, Brand of Brothers, Carousel Calendars, Character World, Fashion Lab, Forever Collectibles, GB Eye, Gemma International, Greencore Group, IC Innovations, PMS International, Schnucki Images, TDP Textiles and Woodmansterne.

Latest brand owners to attend Licensing & Merchandising Showcase include Metrostar Media, Those Licensing People and Withit Studios who have all returned from the inaugural May event.

Richard Milbourn, event director of Licensing & Merchandising Showcase, said: “We are delighted that so many of the same retailers and licensees have been quick to join up for our second instalment, proving that they got real value from Chelsea.

“We learnt a lot from our first Licensing & Merchandising Showcase and have improved it with more networking time during the day to ensure that all three sides of the ‘licensing triangle’ can maximise the number of business opportunities.

“We will continue to keep the intimate nature of the event in a high class environment and look forward to growing the event in a location which will provide a new profile and mix of delegates by virtue of it being based in a different part of the country.”

There are still packages available for licensors and agents. For further details, please contact Richard Milbourn on 0844 561 1230 or email richard.milbourn@carnah.co.uk.

Tickets for retailers, licensees and manufacturers cost £95.70 at www.lmshowcase.com.
