Bettina Koeckler adds Cartoonist Group Licensing

The Deal Factory to create new product merchandising and retail opportunities for company.

Bettina Koeckler’s company, The Deal Factory, has been appointed as the new merchandising partner in the UK, France and Germany for Cartoonist Group Licensing.

The Deal Factory will now work on creating new product merchandising and retail opportunities for a variety of categories including apparel, accessories, home décor, stationery and gifts among others.

Cartoonist Group Licensing represents Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonists and multi-award-winning comic cartoonists who provide cartoons for some of the most widely read and strongest online and print newspaper brands in the US and abroad.

These include the comic strips Frank and Ernest and Speed Bump and the editorial cartoonists, Ann Telnaes, Joel Pett, Matt Wuerker and Signe Wilkinson.

“Bettina is a fabulous European partner for us as we launch our stellar starting line-up of cartoonists,” said Gillian Murrell, vp of brand licensing for the Cartoonist Group.

Bettina added: “I am thrilled to be working with such a talented group of artists and look forward to expanding their reach with a programme that will inspire and delight both current and new fans, as well as excite retailers.”
