Best of 2017: Our top article picks from the year

We’re kicking off the New Year with a look back at some of our most read pieces of 2017.

It’s January 2, 2018 and we’re back after our festive break.

To ease us back into the swing of things, the first daily of the year is dedicated to some of the most popular articles of last year.

We’ve chosen six pieces which were hits with our readers and are also among our favourites from 2017.

From licensing trends to watch at retail – written by BLE’s Anna Knight – and the changing face of the style guide from Carol Feeley at Beacon Creative, through to how licensing took over the catwalk with Fyodor Golan and how children’s magazines continue to beat the market by David Riley, we’ve put together a mix of trends and contributor opinions.

Here at The Source, we’re looking forward to another year of growth, both for us and the licensing industry.

We’d like to wish all our readers a happy, healthy and prosperous 2018.
