Number of events due to take place at retailer throughout August.
The Ben 10 Alien Party Tour is hitting Smyths Toys Superstores this summer, with a number of events running across the country throughout August, including opportunities for fans to win their very own ‘out of this world’ Ben 10 party experience.
Each party location will feature a range of free action-packed activities, including a Ben 10 inflatable assault course, costume character appearances, giveaways, face painting and more.
The tour will visit Smyths stores in Glasgow (August 9); Wallsend (August 11); Hull (August 16); Blackpool (August 18); Dublin (August 23 – TBC) and Swansea (date TBC).
Fans will also have the chance to enter a competition to win the ultimate Ben 10 Alien Party for 30 of their friends at their nearest Smyths store, with exclusive access to the assault course, an Omni-enhanced augmented reality experience, a costume character appearance, face painting and Ben 10 goody bags.
The Alien Party Tour and competition will be promoted by Smyths Toys in-store and through its social media channels with the campaign kicking off two weeks prior to the first event on August 9 in Glasgow. The competition will be promoted via the Cartoon Network website and social media channels.
In addition, Cartoon Network has also created a digital Ben 10 Alien Party Kit for those unable to make it along.
“Ben 10 is one of the most successful boy’s properties of all time and bringing it to life through our Alien Party Tour is a great way for fans to get stuck in and experience it for themselves,” said Graham Saltmarsh, director of licensing, Northern Europe, Cartoon Network.
“We know that activities like this, which engage fans of the show in a fun and meaningful way, result not only in a uplift in retail footfall and consumer product sales, but also a feel-good factor that provides fans with a deeper, long-term connection to our brand.”
